God, it's so hard getting back into character making.. Ever since falling out of love with my old ocs, making Human OCs has never felt the same. I'm not sure how to recapture that spark -- staying motivated to create a story and world by yourself just seems like a more daunting task by the day I hate not posting here on my main anymore, but it's hard!! Maybe I'll try making some spookier ocs, but expect some sort of aesthetic overhaul on this account in the near future -- I've just felt really disconnected from this patch of the internet for a while now and would like to get back to it

I really feel like the eclipse version of deviantart killed a lot of my nostalgia and my drive to create. This was the one website I felt 100% confident and happy in posting to for years until eclipse hit. Eclipse really ruined so much for so many artists and it legitimately sucks so much. :/ Now, Tumblr has given me a bit of that back and toyhouse has been fun. Discord has kept groups alive, but nothing will be like the good old days when everyone would make groups on DA -- easy to customize and add art to, fun to see the core version of those groups, etc.
